Van Hooijdonk: Leeds battered Arsenal; Lacazette should've seen red

Dutch pundit Pierre van Hooijdonk was amazed Leeds United failed to defeat FA Cup opponents Arsenal last night.

The Gunners won 1-0 thanks to Reiss Nelson's winner, but former Nottingham Forest star Van Hooijdonk insists Leeds battered their Premier League opponents.

He posted to social media: "How the hell is it possible that Arsenal - Leeds United is still 0-0 after 42 minutes of play?!

"Leeds completely dominated Arsenal and had so many good opportunities.

"All these created by good football."

Van Hooijdonk also insisted Arsena; striker Alexandre Lacazette should've been sent off for kicking out at Gaetano Berardi.

"Lacazette a definite sending off in Holland but it shows that VAR or no VAR, all different countries using their own 'interpretations' of the rules.

"It's going to be a mess again during EURO2020 with some clowns behind the screens."
