Van Heerden urged to quit Blackburn

Elrio van Heerden is unsettled at Blackburn Rovers.

The South Africa international has failed to make an impact at Ewood Park since his summer arrival.

Agent Rob Moore told KickOff.com that both Van Heerden and fellow South African Benni McCarthy need to get a move out of Blackburn in January.

"This has been a bad season at Blackburn for both Elrio [van Heerden] and Benni - neither seem to be the kind of player that fits into the Blackburn system and both need to move on in January," he said.

Van Heerden only arrived at Ewood Park during the off-season, and has so far made only one substitute appearance in a Carling Cup match.
