Van Geel says Feyenoord calm over exit talk for Southampton target Clasie

Feyenoord chief Martin van Geel is comfortable over Jordy Clasie's contract situation.

Southampton are expected to move for the midfielder this summer as a replacement for Arsenal target Morgan Schneiderlin.

Van Geel has reminded suitors that Clasie penned a new deal in August.

"We have done very well at the end of August to extend the contract of Clasie until 2018," he said. "Nobody walks in the summer from his contract.

"We are now better financially, so we have more and more things under control."
