Former Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal was left unimpressed by their 1-1 draw at Europa League opponents Club Brugge.
he former United manager was in attendance with ex-Club Brugge player Henk Houwaart as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side came back from a goal behind to draw in Belgium on Thursday night.
And Van Gaal wasn't impressed with what he saw from his former side as he watched from the stands.
“Louis thought it was a lousy contest," Houwaart told Het Laatste Nieuws. “(We) both thought it was a worthless match. After no more than three passes, they lost the ball again (and) Louis sighed.
“It was just friendly. Too bad, because Man United were there to be taken, had Club Brugge played with their best team. Well, it's not over yet. We'll score in England."
