Van Dijk: No demands from Liverpool on Holland minutes

Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk says he's 'excited' to represent his country again as he prepares to feature in upcoming World Cup qualifiers.

The Dutch defender has started in all three of Liverpool's Premier League matches so far this season and appears to have put his injury setback behind him in no time.

Now away with the Dutch national team again, Van Dijk described his feelings regarding being back with the team.

“I need matches, and I get them now at Liverpool," he said.

“I have not made any agreements with the club about how much I will play in the national team, but I have talked about it with the coach.

“We keep in good contact this week. I am especially excited about it."
