Van Dijk making positive progress from knee surgery at Liverpool

Virgil van Dijk is continuing his recovery from knee surgery at Liverpool's training HQ.

Van Dijk has provided Liverpool fans with an update on his recovery from a ruptured cruciate ligament.

The Dutchman has been ruled out for the season following a challenge he suffered in the Merseyside derby.

But the 29-year-old is doing everything he can to return to the team.

And his latest update on social media will give fans reason to be positive, though he is about where he should be at this stage of his recovery.

Van Dijk posted a video of him cycling on his Twitter account as he enters week 10 of his recovery.

After successfully undergoing surgery at the end of October on his knee and is being closely monitored by Liverpool medical staff.
