Liverpool star Virgil Van Dijk spoke about his side's strong mentality after they ground out a 1-0 win over Wolves.
The Reds are favourites to win the Premier League title after creating a significant gap to the likes of Leicester City and Manchester City.
Despite playing so many games in December, Liverpool have not let up in their winning league run.
And Van Dijk believed they needed to be at their best to overcome Wolves.
"It was [tough]. Wolves are a good team, made it very difficult for us and have good players," Van Dijk told the club's website.
"It's never easy for both sides to play in the circumstances – last week and this week a lot of games, travelling for both sides.
"They made it tough for us and we're obviously very happy that we kept the three points.
"You have to be very patient, you have to stay positive. We kept the ball for a while and were very patient, I think that's the most important thing.
"It's not always easy because you want to score goals as quick as possible but you had to be very patient today because they were defending well and when they had the ball they did good things as well. It was tough."
