Former Tottenham star Rafael Van Der Vaart does not think his countryman Steven Berghuis should join Everton.
The Feyenoord winger is set to move to the Premier League this summer, five years after leaving Watford.
Berghuis has 22 goals and 11 assists in the Eredivisie this season.
But Van Der Vaart questions the idea of leaving the Dutch club, especially for a team like Everton.
He told reporters: "I think he should stay with Feyenoord.
"He is the man there, the team is built around him.
"Do you have to go to somewhere like Everton when you are almost 29?
"If you go there and don't play well for two games they will replace you with a clumsy Englishman and you will be out of the picture with the national team."
