Tottenham new boy Rafael van der Vaart expects his club to outdo North London rivals Arsenal this season.
The Dutchman is well aware of the bitter rivalry between the Spurs and the Gunners after being informed by Holland teammate Robin van Persie and is adamant that his new club can enjoy more success than Arsenal this season.
"Arsenal have a great team also, a lot of great young players," he said.
"But I think our squad is not worse than Arsenal's so I think we have a good chance to win against them.
"And not only win the game against them but also, over the whole season, we can aspire to beat them."
