Edwin Van Der Sar would not rule out a future return to Manchester United.

The Ajax chief executive spoke about the possibility of joining United in a sporting director role.

While there are only rumours at this stage, Van Der Sar was not committal about rejecting United to stay at Ajax.

"You never know," Van der Sar about the possibility of a return to England to reporters.

"At the moment, Ajax is the principle thought where I'm putting all my time and effort in and whatever happens, we will see."
