Donny van de Beek insists he did not get frustrated waiting for his chance to play for Manchester United.
United paid big money to sign the midfielder from boyhood club Ajax this past summer.
However, van de Beek only made his first Premier League start in Sunday's comeback win over Southampton.
The Dutchman was impressive in the match and hopes he can now continue playing regularly for the Red Devils, beginning with Wednesday's clash with PSG in the Champions League.
"Not at all, no," replied van de Beek when asked if he was frustrated.
"I just work hard every day and I know that I can give the team something extra and I can help the team a lot so yeah, I was just patient."
And van de Beek added he is happy playing anywhere in United's midfield three.
"Oh, it's fine. Also in Ajax before, I played in a lot of different positions. I played 10, even number 6, so I'm used to it. I play in a lot of different positions."
