Ajax and AC Milan legend Marco van Basten was stunned by the Dutch team's collapse this week.
Ajax were thrashed 6-1 by Napoli in the Champions League this week.
Van Basten said, "The result, 6-1, was a massacre, it's unacceptable to be outclassed like that by Napoli, a good team, but that does not justify the hammering suffered.
“Incomprehensible the market that Ajax made, spending €100m in a strange and crazy way.
"Something is wrong."
