Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo has spoken directly with president Florentino Perez about his future.

Vallejo is upset over the lack of action he's seen since returning from his loan spell at Eintracht Frankfurt.

The defender had expected to enter the defensive rotations, as Nacho did last season, but has found himself frozen out by coach Zinedine Zidane.

Diario Gol says Vallejo has met with Florentino at his office inside the Santiago Bernabeu about his situation and intimated he is already regretting his return.

A departure in January is now on the agenda for the young centre-half.
