Adelaide United veterans Michael Valkanis and Paul Agostino will be given a spot in the starting eleven in tomorrow night's major semi-final against the Melbourne Victory.

The Reds have lost all three matches to the Victory this season and Aurelio Vidmar is keen to add some experience and grunt to the line-up.

Brazilian defender Cassio will not make the match as he recovers from a calf injury whilst towering centre-back Robert Cornthwaite will miss due to suspension.

Midweek signing Rostyn Griffiths is expected to start on the bench and is likely to be used and one of the form players of the season, Sasa Ognenovski is back from suspension.
