Valencia youngster Hugo Guillamon has signed a three-year contract extension to stay until 2023.

Los Che announced the news of the defender's new three-year deal, which has an 80 million euro release clause, on Wednesday.

The 20-year-old started five of Valencia's final 11 fixtures of the LaLiga Santander season in June and July.

Guillamon, who had been linked with a move away from Mestalla before putting pen to paper, has spent his entire footballing career at Valencia, coming through the ranks at the academy.
