Valencia wing-back Daniel Wass is delighted for Denmark teammate Martin Braithwaite over his move to Barcelona.

The former Leganes striker landed the shock switch last month as an emergency replacement signing for Ousmane Dembele.

"I was surprised, but I wish Martin all the success he can get. It is great that there is a Dane in Barcelona again.

"I had not seen it coming, but hope he has huge success in the club. I want to follow him closely," Wass tells bold.dk.

"He has some excellent skills, and then it will probably be a little easier for him when he has the world's best football player right next to him.

"He gets to play with some fantastic players who can feed him, and he has so much quality that his teammates will probably be happy for him."
