Valencia are reviving interest in re-signing Manchester City defender Nicolas Otamendi.
Otamendi moved to City in 2015 from Valencia, but now the Spanish team are looking for a reunion with their former player, says The Sun.
No official offer has been made yet for the Argentine, who arrived for a fee of £32million and became a big part of the team during their success in recent years.
Otamendi was up for sale in last summer's transfer window, however City felt that they received no suitable offers, and he stayed on the books.
It ended up being a blessing for City, who lost Aymeric Laporte to a long-term injury, meaning they could bring Otamendi back in as cover.
However now, with Laporte coming back to action in City's 1-0 win over Sheffield United this week, the door could be open for Otamendi to leave once again.
