England risk losing Valencia whizkid Yunus Musah after he committed to playing for the USA in a friendly against Wales.
Marca says the 17-year-old, who was born in New York, has attracted the attention of international selectors for his performances with Valencia this season.
Musah, born in New York with Ghanaian descent, has already represented England at youth level, having been part of the Arsenal academy from the age of 12 until 16. MARCA are able to confirm, though, that the winger has accepted an approach from the US Soccer Federation (USSF) to play for the senior side against Wales this month.
Sources close to the player have said that it was an opportunity the youngster saw as the next step in his professional career and one that doesn't include any type of international commitment. Playing in one friendly match for the USA does not close the door on representing England in the future.
Musah has played for England at every age group up until under-18s.
