Valencia president Amadeo Salvo insists Real Madrid do not want Jose Luis Gaya.

The young left-back has been linked with Real.

But Salvo revealed: "Valencia will fight to defend its rights. Gayà is a player who is not for sale and Valencia will not negotiate with Real Madrid or anyone. There is no price on Gayà's head.

"Valencia will not negotiate his exit because our intention is that Gayà stays at Valencia for many years. This is our position with Real Madrid and with any other club. If one day he wants to leave, it will be him that has to say something. For now he stays; this is his intention and that of his agents.

"I have asked Florentino Pérez if he wants Gayà and he has told me that he is not interested. Gayà's progression is extraordinary and we are already in talks with him."
