Valencia are prepared to negotiate the sale of Rodrigo Moreno to Barcelona this month.

While reluctant to lose their star striker midseason, Los Che management haven't shut the door on Barca, says Mundo Deportivo.

Instead of referring the Catalans to Rodrigo's €120m buyout clause, Valencia are willing to open talks over a sale from a starting point of €60m.

Barca are encouraged, though are reluctant to spend such money at this stage in the season. Instead, they're seeking a loan arrangement with a permanent option in June.

For his part, Rodrigo is excited by Barca's interest after seeing a summer move to Atletico Madrid fall through in August.
