Valencia are lining up a move for Alaves striker Joselu.

Joselu is off contract in June and Valencia are eager to sign the veteran for next season.

The former Newcastle striker is seen as a replacement for Maxi Gomez, says AS.

VCF owner Peter Lim has given directors Anil Murthy and Miguel Ángel Corona the green light to sign the striker, a player who coach Jose Bordalás likes.

This season, Joselu has scored 11 goals in 23 games.
