Valencia are in contact with Arsenal midfielder Dani Ceballos about next season.
Los Che made an attempt to takeover Ceballos' from Real Madrid in January and have followed up those enquiries with a fresh approach, says Marca.
The midfielder is expected to return to Real at the end of the season, though he could yet stay with Arsenal due to his relationship with manager Mikel Arteta.
Ceballos recently said on El Chiringuito: "Yes, my agent came to me to comment on Valencia's interest. In January there was a moment of nervousness for the Euro Cup, I came from an injury of two months and I wasn't playing and I wanted to play.
"I wasn't and I had to look to my future. Finally I managed to change the situation, I started training, Arteta gave me the opportunity and in the last month and a half I saw myself with great possibilities of going to the European Championship and I felt important at Arsenal."
