Valencia held 1-1 by Osasuna at Mestalla

Valencia were held to 1-1 draw by Osasuna on Thursday evening at the Mestalla.

Valencia were looking to pick up points after winning last match. Osasuna secured a point against Real Madrid in their previous match. As it stands, Valencia are in 14th place, with 20 points from 19 matches, while Osasuna sit in 19th, with 16 points from 19.

Osasuna started the first half well, with Jonathan Calleri opening the scoring just before the break to see out the first half 1-0.

Valencia took the initiative in the second half, thanks to an own goal from Unai Garcia in the 69th minute.

Both teams had their chances late on, but the game ended 1-1.
