Valencia fullback Thierry Correia says the players are delighted to be off to a winning start this season.

Valencia won their opening game against Getafe.

"We've started well, which is important. We started off with a win, but that's already in the past now. We're focused on the game against Granada and we want the win," Correira told the club's website.

"We train very hard and very well during the week. When it comes to the game, we need to be ready to play well."

As for this weekend's opponents, Correia says: "Granada are a good team who have been playing together for a long time. Last season we weren't able to win there, but this year we are going to work hard to do that."

"We are very united and always looking for the victory. We all work hard. The trust that the coach has in what we can do on the pitch is very important for us. We want to respond well to what he has been working on."
