Valencia fullback Jose Luis Gaya admits the players know Real Madrid are eager to sign Rodrigo Moreno.

The striker's contract carries a €120m buyout clause and Valencia chief Mateu Alemany confessed yesterday they would be powerless should Real choose to pay the option.

Gaya, meanwhile, admits Rodrigo's teammates are well aware of the speculation.

He told El Transistor: "We know that Real Madrid is interested in Rodrigo.

"But he has not told us anything about that, he's still a Valencia FC player."
