Valencia defender Mouctar Diakhaby released a video statement on Tuesday morning standing by accusations made against Cadiz's Jaun Cala.
The Frenchman reaffirmed that on Sunday Cala made a serious racist insult against him and that after they left the field of play another Cadiz player tried to negotiate his return to the game if Cala apologised.
"In Cádiz on Sunday there is a play in which a player insults me and his words are 'black s***'. That is intolerable, I cannot consent to that. You all saw my reaction. That cannot happen in normal life and neither in football, which is a sport of respect," he said in a video on his social media channels.
"My teammates and I decided to go to the locker room. It was a good decision. Then one of their players asked a player of ours if we would return to the field if Cala apologised. We said no, that things are not like that, that you can't do something and excuse yourself and go through like this.
"It is life and there are things like that in life. I hope that the LaLiga is going to do things so that it be seen and clarified."
