Valencia have a deal in place for Atletico Madrid striker Kevin Gameiro.

Los Che announced the signing of the Frenchman on Sunday afternoon.

Valencia will pay Atlético a fee of around 16 million euros for Gameiro plus a further 2-3 million in performance-related add-ons.

But the total cost of the operation will not reach 20 million euros - Atlético's original asking price.

Gameiro follows Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi, who has joined on-loan.
