Valencia coach Marcelino is keen on a deal for West Ham striker Javier Hernandez.

Levante-EMV says Chicharito has made the first move, with agents offering the Mexico international to Valencia chiefs.

And Marcelino has quickly given his approval to the deal.

The Los Che coach sees Chicharito as a better option than current Chelsea loanee Michy Batshuayi, who is set to be jettisoned next month.

Valencia will now seek to thrash out terms with West Ham over a fee for the striker.
