Valencia coach Marcelino can't see Batshuayi staying 'long-term'

Valencia coach Marcelino admits he expects Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi to leave this month.

Marcelino also believes the same for fellow striker Kevin Gameiro.

He said, "These are different scenarios. In one, we have three months to plan things. This market is much more difficult than the summer transfer window where we have more time. The players told me that they wanted to stay and I am delighted. But at the same time, I told them they needed to increase their performance to score more goals and improve results.

"We have the same level of self-confidence but they need to increase the yield shown so far.

"Kevin and Michy will play a game against Vitoria, with the desire to help the team. All that must happen will happen. In my head, I do not see that in the short or medium term they will continue with us."
