Valencia coach Bordalas: Espanyol draw little use to both teams

Valencia coach Javier Bordalas concedes their draw with Espanyol was underwhelming.

The two played out a routine 1-1 draw with little at stake.

Bordalas said, "It's difficult because we were two teams that had very little at stake; just finishing the season as well as possible in these last few games. RCD Espanyol wanted a victory in front of their home fans and we wanted to end our bad run of results.

"Today we lacked accuracy in front of goal. We had more chances and better chances than them. It's difficult right now because the mood is not the same. We were superior enough to have won the game. It's a pity that, with the game under control, we conceded the equaliser.

"In the end, a point that is of little use to either of us."
