Valencia coach Albert Celades insists they deserved more from their 2-2 draw with Champions League opponents Chelsea.
The result leaves group qualification open for both teams.
Celades said, "It was a very open game. If anyone deserved to win, it was us.
"We wanted to win the game, qualify directly and the effort was very big... We deserved more not only for the effort of the players but for the opportunities we had."
He added: "I've never seen a lack of attitude, I really say. In La Liga we lost with Betis on a punishment."
