Valencia captain Toni Lato called for unity after defeat to Real Valladolid.
Los Che's slide down the LaLiga table continued on Sunday with another setback.
Lato said afterwards, "We suffered a big blow today. It is a tough situation for us. We have to pick ourselves up and keep believing. How we started the game is the way to go, and what we had talked about during the week. We have to grow from there.
"The players are all in this together. Today we showed that at the start of the game. You could see an intense and brave team that wanted to go for the victory.
"These are difficult situations. We have to keep believing in ourselves, be brave, be consistent with those starts and keep persisting when the game isn't killed off. It's a frustrating time, but we're all in this together. It is a difficult moment for us and for the fans.
"I am the first to understand the situation, and I am the first to be annoyed both as a player and as a fan. It's difficult and sad, but we have to think about starting bravely in the next game, like we did today."
