Valencia captain Dani Parejo is urging Ferran Torres to sign a new contract.

The attacker is being linked with a big money move away this summer.

But Parejo told Movistar TV: "Ferran is an important player for Valencia.

"He is young, has great talent and also has a bright future ahead of him. I don't know what his specific situation is, but with the Coronavirus crisis several clubs will not be able to pay certain wages.

"The final decision is up to Ferran, but for us it would clearly be important if he renewed."
