Valencia attacker Hugo Duro says the fans deserve better after their defeat to Cadiz on Sunday.

The result leaves Valencia hovering just outside the dropzone.

Duro said, "We came here as if it was a final. But, for me, it didn't seem like it from the inside. You can't be dominated for an entire half just because of attitude. We'll be more capable or not in the matches, and things will go better or worse for us, but attitude is not negotiable. I think there was a lack of attitude.

"It's the same as always. We don't react until we get the first blow. It can't be allowed. It's hard for us to react. Either we start from the beginning or from now until the end of the year it's going to cost us a lot.

"When we beat Valladolid we weren't machines, and today we're not a bunch of w*****s. It's work. We know that we still depend on ourselves. I trust my teammates to the death. We depend on ourselves and I'm going to trust my teammates until the end."
