Gazzetta dello Sport says despite having Santiago Canizares and Timo Hildebrand on their books, Valencia have asked Milan about a January deal for Kalac.

Kalac's performance in Milan's friendly against Athletic Bilbao last month has sparked Valencia's interest and while he is happy at the San Siro, the beanpole shot-stopper would be interested in a move to Spain if he can be guaranteed first team football.
