Victor Valdes' agent has revealed that his client will leave Manchester United when the winter transfer windows.
The 33-year-old former Barcelona goalkeeper is a certainty to depart United after being locked out of first-team training by Louis van Gaal and his representative Gines Carvajal says a move will be made in January.
Valdes, who is a target for the likes of Newcastle United and Turkish club Antalyaspor, has the opportunity to return to his homeland of Spain but Carvajal says that is an unlikely scenario.
"He needs to go to a place he feels is right for him," his agent old Radio Marca.
"He won't be coming to Spain, unless he decides otherwise.
"It is obvious he must leave in January, and we are looking to find a move that he likes.
"He had the option of coming to Valencia in the summer and did not want to."
