Valdes fighting to be free from Man Utd

Victor Valdes has posted a strong message on social media regarding his future at Manchester United.

The Spanish goalkeeper joined United in January this year but has made just two appearances and is currently frozen out by Louis van Gaal.

Valdes is pushing for a winter departure from Old Trafford in a bid to fight for his career and posted a message on Twitter highlighting his desire to free himself of his current situation and become stronger from what he has experienced.

The Twitter post translates to: 'Not to disappoint those who want to see me play, my motivation.

'Struggle to be free and enjoy my profession'

While the writing on the card translates to: 'What doesn't kill you only makes you stronger'

Valdes' agent Gines Carvajal recently suggested to Radio Marca that his client would have to leave United in January if he wants to play regularly.

“He won't be coming to Spain, unless he decides otherwise," said Carvajal.

“It is obvious he must leave in January, and we are looking to find a move that he likes.

“He had the option of coming to Valencia in the summer and did not want to."
