FC Utrecht GM Wilco van Schaik is adamant they rejected a bid from Swansea City for winger Edouard Duplan.

Swans have denied the claims, but Van Schaik insists the offer was tabled.

He told De Telegraaf: "Last week we had a bid from Swansea City for Duplan and it was rejected.

"We won't let our best players leave just for nothing."
