USA boss Juergen Klinsmann has spoken about the state of the national team and that he yearns for some of his star players to move to 'bigger' clubs.
Klinsmann told ESPN that he feels some of his key contributors, such as Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard and Sunderland striker Jozy Altidore, need to step up after this summer's World Cup and make their way to top clubs in England.
"My wish is that maybe after the World Cup we get Jozy Altidore, our No. 9, into a Champions League team or Tim Howard becomes goalkeeper of a big team," he said.
"We have good players, but we don't have the belief yet that we belong in there."
He added: "We need players someday like Brazil, Argentina that play Champions League. Champions League in Europe is the crème de la crème."
