North America's National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) has partnered with the Army National Guard (ARNG), reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. ARNG becomes the nine-team league's official armed forces partner and will have the opportunity to run a military night with each club during the season, which will include tickets for ARNG members, participation in the first kick and coin toss as well as half-time presentations.
ARNG will also have an on-site presence at all matches throughout the season, including in-arena signage and public address announcements. It will rename the player of the month award, which will be known as the Army National Guard Player of the Month.
