Sporting Kansas City young gun Teal Bunbury is being billed as the next big thing in United States soccer.
The 21-year old has all the attributes to make it at the top and the fact that he has already experienced international soccer with the USA team indicates he is on the right track.
One person in the right position to make a judgment on young players is Alexi Lalas, the former US international who starred at club level for LA Galaxy, the old Kansas City Wizards, New York MetroStars, New England Revolution and Italian club Padova. He feels that Bunbury certainly has the talent but has questioned his mentality.
"I love his size and I love his grace," said Lalas of Bunbury.
"When you talk about Teal, you're talking about an undeniable talent, the likes of which we haven't seen in the United States.
"But when it gets down and dirty the question is this - does he have the mental capability to deal with being a star at the highest stage?"
