The 23-year-old USA international has attracted attention after scoring 14 goals in 25 league appearances for the 2.Bundesliga club this season.
German newspaper Berlin Kurier has claimed that Jurgen Klopp's Reds are interested in the player and have already scouted him on occasions this term which comes as no surprise to Kreilach.
"When you're playing well and making many goals then other teams notice and you get offers," he said.
"He has not been here very long but he has done a lot for the club and shown what he can do when he is in top form and feels comfortable.
"He is actually a top-flight player - he's quick, a goal threat, has good sense and is strong in dribbling.
"He is a great guy and he is certainly on the way up."
