As Bolton slip into the relegation zone, boss Gary Megson says he won't be forced out of the club. Megson has never been universally accepted by the Trotters faithful following his appointment as Sammy Lee's replacement in October 2007.
Despite preserving Bolton's Premier League status for the past two terms, Megson has been unable to match the achievements of Sam Allardyce.
Chairman Phil Gartside has given Megson his backing and the boss insists he will not be hounded out.
He said: "I've been dealing with this for two years.
"I've been getting sacked every morning, I haven't known what I was doing since I've been here.
"I've kept his club up twice and we're one of the lowest spenders in the division."
