Manchester United are ready to welcome whizkid Joe Hugill from Sunderland.
The Daily Star says United are offering a £1,200-a-week contract to 16-year-old Hugill.
United are convinced that deal has seen them win a seven-club battle for Sunderland academy striker Hugill.
Tottenham, Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, Wolves and Leeds also wanted Hugill, but United have agreed an initial £250,000 fee with Sunderland and also personal terms with the player.
Hugill's £62,400-a-year deal will kick in when he is 17 - and becomes a full-time professional - in October. It's not big money for United, but it is for a teenager.
He is due at United's Carrington training HQ in the summer, when travel restrictions are lifted, for a medical and to complete what is for him a dream move.
