Manchester United have drawn up a contract offer for Juventus veteran Mario Mandzukic.
United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is ready to break his transfer policy to sign the experienced Croatian and bolster his misfiring attack after a slow start to the season.
Goal says United believe they will succeed with a £9million bid to Juventus, with the 33-year-old set to be handed an 18-month contract at Old Trafford.
Mandzukic will earn a salary of around £4.4million per year, working out at £85,000 per week, in a deal keeping him with the club until the summer of 2021.
The target man has scored 44 goals in 162 games for the Turin side since his move from Atletico Madrid in 2015.
