UEFA have reportedly been urged to BAN Barcelona from next season's Champions League by investigators.
ABC is reporting Jean Samuel Leuba and Mirjam Koller Trunz, the two inspectors appointed by UEFA's Ethics and Disciplinary Committee on 23 March to investigate the Negreira case, have allegedly asked that Barcelona be sanctioned with a one-year ban from European competitions.
This, according to ABC is the result of the investigation organised by UEFA: "Barça has violated the legal framework of the European body".
Particularly decisive would be the report of the Swiss inspector, who claims to have noticed signs of "activities aimed at organising or influencing the outcome of matches".
The final decision, however, will rest with UEFA. The institution can open a file and await the opinion of the Spanish justice or follow the conclusions of the inspectors and enact the request.
Barca have qualified for next season's Champions League after winning the LaLiga title this term.
