UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin has heaped praise on Manchester United youngster Marcus Rashford.
Rashford has been involved in raising money for vulnerable children in the UK so they can have meals during the COVID-19 lockdown.
And he recently lobbied the government to keep its free school meals vouchers going into the summer.
The government first rejected his plea, but quickly made a U-turn after much public pressure.
Cerefin spoke at a press conference about Rashford and the recent Black Lives Matter movement in the UK.
He said: "I am proud that footballers are leading some of today's most important international debates.
"We have seen players like Raheem Sterling, Marcelo, Jerome Boateng and many others make important stands over Black Lives Matter, and just yesterday we saw Marcus Rashford change Government policy to stop children suffering from hunger.
"Football can really be an important vehicle for good and these examples demonstrate that.
"He's a very popular football player, it's a big, big power and obviously he is a very smart guy.
"We are impressed by his achievement."
