Udinese to trigger permanent option in loan for Man City winger Jayden Braaf

Udinese are expected to trigger the permanent option in the loan deal for Manchester City winger Jayden Braaf.

The Manchester Evening News says Braaf scored his first professional goal at the weekend as his loan club Udinese weigh up a permanent move in the summer transfer window.

In the January transfer window Serie A side Udinese struck an agreement to take him for the rest of the season and, after protracted wrangling from both sides, managed to insert a clause allowing them to buy Braaf permanently this summer for a fee in the region of £9m.

The Dutch starlet has been eased in at his new club, with coach Luca Gotti careful not to throw the new signing in over his head as Udinese battle to secure their league status for another season.

Despite training with the senior squad from the start, he has only one start and four appearances in total to his name.
