Udinese president Pozzo tells Man Utd to up bid for Sanchez

Udinese patron Giampaolo Pozzo says Manchester United must up their bid to land Alexis Sanchez.

It has been reported that Manchester United made an offer of €20m to coax the forward to Old Trafford.

"I'd say you need more than €20m to sign Sanchez," Udinese owner Pozzo told the Gazzetta dello Sport.

"In any case, I don't think this'll be an issue. He is a world class player, but needs a few years to mature in Udine so he can make the real step up in quality.

"When he is able to score 10-12 goals per season, then we can give the all-clear for a sale.

"As for the other players, the January transfer window is not only closed, but also bricked up. We are not selling anybody and I don't see the need to sign anyone either.

"Gokhan Inler won't be leaving and neither will Antonio Floro Flores."
