Udinese defender Jens Stryger Larsen has welcomed interest from Watford.

The Dane is being linked with the Premier League new boys this summer.

With a year to run on his Udinese deal, Larsen told Bold: "The status is that we had some contract negotiations this winter, where nothing came of it. Now I have a year left on my contract and that's really how the situation is. Right now I focus fully on the national team and the European Championships, and then we have to see what happens next.

"I have aired the idea that something new must also happen, and I am ready to take a step further if it comes to that, but I will take it after the European Championships.

"Rumours? I do not have much to comment on. I take the concrete things with my agent and then we take it from there."
